I'm new to the Felted Rose Bag KAL. I have had the pattern for quite some time and purchased the yarn about 2 months ago - just not inspired enough to get going - until I found this KAL today! Yes!! I will be doing the bag with Cascade 220, double stranded and will get started tonight and post my progress soon!

We will be knitting the Felted Rose Bag (pattern #32) From Vogue Knitting Winter 2004/05. If you would like to join the KAL please:

2. Share any experiences you have with everyone.
There is no time limit to this project so feel free to move at your own pace, and remember "HAVE FUN!"

Hi, Sue! I just joined, too. You're going to double Cascade? We're thinking of doubling a Bulky (either Lamb's Pride or Mauch).
I'm going to be way behind everyone else, but I have 2 pillows to do.

Don't worry about being behind, the trellis pattern is easy to figure out!
Hi Susan. I think I decided to double Cascade as I am hoping that the bag comes out a little smaller that way. Will be interesting to see how the different yarns come out. Sue
Sue, what size needles will you use? Or do you know yet?
Susan - I started the bag tonight and am using size 19 needles with Cascade doubled. It seems to be working out fine. I am in the middle of the 1st trellis pattern right now and when I finish the first repeat, I think I'll call it a night and continue tomorrow. Whew! Sue
Hey you guys... that date must have been a very busy one... Sue you and I seem to follow each other... too funny!
I am going to be double stranding worsted weight yarns. I will be using Cascade 220, Plymouth Galway, and Lamb's Pride.
